Practical Law Company released its global rankings for Energy practice groups in its Q3 2008 issue of Cross-border Quarterly. Macleod Dixon was the only Canadian firm to crack the highly reputable list, claiming the 12th spot in the global rankings. The "Which Lawyer? Energy Super League" (the global list) is based on research gathered from general counsel, client feedback and peer evaluations. The Energy practice area, according to Practical Law Company, covers lawyers working in the oil & gas, water, mining, electricity and renewable energy sectors - which further includes specialists in regulatory issues, commercial and transactional matters, projects and litigation.
