Alyona A. Kozyreva
Alyona joined Macleod Dixon in 2005 after working for international law firms as a paralegal and translator. At Macleod Dixon, Alyona has developed a specialized knowledge in corporate and commercial law as well as the law on NGOs - a new area of specialization for the Moscow office.
Alyona works across a wide spectrum of corporate issues, advising on the optimal investment and corporate vehicle to meet a client’s particular needs and protect their interests and participation in joint enterprises.
Alyona advises clients on such issues as:
- Establishment and liquidation of legal entities;
- All corporate matters, including the holding of shareholders/participants’ meetings and drafting corporate documents;
- Accreditation of representative offices and branches;
- Obtaining work permits for foreign clients;
- Registration of non-profit companies;
- Stock issuances;
- Import of equipment as a contribution to charter capital;
- Anti-trust issues;
- Land and environmental issues.
Alyona is fluently multilingual and has written a number of articles on anti-trust law. She also makes regular contributions to the Legal Alert publications distributed to clients of the Moscow office in Russia.
Alyona has a particular interest in legal research on land as well as environmental issues, water protection zones, and all aspects of forestry regulations which impact on subsoil legislation.
