Andrew R. Robertson
Andy practises with Macleod Dixon’s civil litigation group, focusing primarily in the areas of employment law, disability matters, and human rights. Primarily acting as counsel for employers and insurers, he has extensive experience advising clients on dismissal matters, human rights issues, and all other issues relating to employment law. He regularly advises and represents a major university as well as a major primary and secondary educational institution.
Andy is the Chair of Macleod Dixon's Employment Practice Group.
Andy appears regularly before the Court of Queen’s Bench, the Court of Appeal, and has appeared before the Alberta Human Rights and Citizenship Commission, the Alberta Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, labour and commercial arbitrators, and umpires appointed under the Employment Standards Code.
