Charles W. Berard
Practising extensively in the corporate and commercial area of law, Charlie has developed considerable expertise in oil and gas, mining, and securities law.
Charlie has provided counsel to a large number of private and public companies with respect to various transactions including mergers, acquisitions and other securities matters. He has also been very involved in joint venture matters and has considerable expertise in oil sands and international transactions. He is a board member and/or corporate secretary of several private and public companies and provides advice to boards in corporate governance and other board related matters.
Charlie also worked extensively in the international arena, having worked on oil and gas, mining, and other projects throughout Africa, South and Central America, India, Indonesia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.
