Macleod Dixon ranks first by National Post
According to the National Post, Macleod Dixon ranks first for the combined value (approximately $3.5 billion) of deals for Canadian legal counsel to issuers on public offerings by oil and gas producers during 2007. This is a result of 10 completed deals in 2007, which places the firm second by number of transactions. Macleod Dixon also ranked fourth among Canadian legal counsel to underwriters on public offerings by oil and gas producers. When ranked by number of deals on the underwriter side, Macleod Dixon is ranked second.
