Insurance issues and contentious matters are at the heart of our aviation practice.

We advise on liability claims, coverage disputes, wordings and insurance claims. We also act for underwriters in political risk matters arising out of aircraft finance transactions. Members of our team have advised airlines and their insurers in relation to some of the most high profile and complex aviation insurance led cases of the past decade, ranging from minor to major air accidents to corporate manslaughter and product liability claims. On the non-contentious side, we advise underwriters and airlines on changes to the Warsaw & Montreal Convention regimes and their impact on insurance cover and claims handling.
