Norton Rose leads Lloyd’s List roll call of most influential shipping lawyers

International legal practice Norton Rose Group has led Lloyd’s List’s Top 10 law personalities for 2011.
Harry Theochari, global head of transport at Norton Rose Group, has been named the most influential shipping lawyer in Lloyd’s List’s annual industry rankings, based on his extensive international shipping finance experience and his leading expertise in the financing of liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessels.
Jim James, partner, Norton Rose Hong Kong, is also included in Lloyd’s List’s Top 10 law personalities, selected by the Lloyd’s List editorial team as a leader in the Asian shipping sector, advising clients on a broad range of disputes across the transport sector.
The accolade follows the Jane’s Transport Finance awards on 30th November 2011 where Norton Rose Group was named Legal House of the Year for the second consecutive year, and the Leasing Life awards on 3 November 2011 where the practice was announced winner of the Asset Finance Legal Provider of the Year award.
