Kerrie J. Logan
Working primarily in the energy sector, Kerrie acts for numerous oil and gas producers, energy marketers and gas buyers. Her primary areas of focus are gas marketing, oil and gas transactions, ISDA transactions and credit issues.
Kerrie joined Macleod Dixon in 1981 after articling with the Alberta Court of Appeal.

Kerrie’s extensive experience includes:
- Developing Shipper contracts for the MacKenzie Valley Gathering System
- Negotiating natural gas and derivatives transactions and providing advice on GasEDI, NAESB, ISDA Master Agreements, guarantees, force majeure clauses and liquidated damages clauses
- Negotiating numerous asset transactions, including sales of midstream assets, ngl businesses, oil and gas working interests and oil sands interests
- Establishing gas marketing companies
- Providing advice to oil and gas producers concerning matters such as partnerships, restrictions on assignments and rights of first refusal
- Negotiating financing agreements for borrowers in the energy sector, including asset-based financings
- Negotiating electricity purchase contracts
- Preparing and negotiating supply vessel and helicopter agreements and general service agreements for oil and gas drilling operations offshore of Newfoundland
