56th Annual Hays Breakfast
Calgary, Canada - July, 2006The 56th Annual Hays Breakfast was held at Heritage Park on Sunday, July 9. The Hays family and friends have been organizing the Hays Stampede Breakfast for over 55 years and this year they "turned the reins over" to Macleod Dixon and Rob Peters to organize and host the 2006 Hays Breakfast. The firm is excited to be taking on such an active role in this event which has been such a longstanding city tradition.
The event was attended by over 2,500 people and Dan Hays, a Calgary partner and former host of the breakfast, was the master ceremonies for the event which included the ritual of the "sillabub" where the sponsors of the event make a drink mixture up using various household products and serve it to anyone brave enough to drink it!
