Macleod Dixon Announces Four New Partners

Macleod Dixon Announces New Partners

Calgary, Alberta - April 04, 2007 - Macleod Dixon LLP is pleased to add four new partners to the firm's roster, each promoted from within.

Macleod Dixon expands its depth and breadth of experience through its newest partners - Kevin Barr (Litigation/Insolvency and Restructuring), Kathy Krug (Securities/Corporate), and Gord Van Vliet (Real Estate) of the Calgary office, and Pamela Horton (Real Estate) of the Toronto office.

All of the Calgary lawyers completed their articles with Macleod Dixon before joining the firm as associates, which clearly indicates the firm's commitment to forging strong partnerships with the students it hires.

William Tuer, Managing Partner of Macleod Dixon, says "new partners represent the lifeblood and future of the firm, and with this group we have added depth, talent and integrity.”

It is especially gratifying that the Macleod Dixon partnership continues to grow in Calgary's current labour market, proving that the firm is on track with its optimistic view of the future. Tuer added that "we are committed to the continued growth and success of the firm this year and beyond, as we look ahead to our 100th anniversary [in 2012]."
