Olga V. Fonotova

Olga concentrates her practice in mergers and acquisitions, securities, antimonopoly, currency regulation and currency control matters.  She also provides support to her clients on setting up a corporate presence in Russia and on operational issues, taking into account corporate, commercial and regulatory aspects of Russian law.

Olga has represented Russian and western clients, including companies from the oil and gas and mining sectors, on a variety of mergers and acquisitions transactions.  She has also participated in the restructuring of companies and advised foreign banks and international credit organizations with regard to the financing of projects in Russia.

In 2002, Olga joined the Moscow Office of Macleod Dixon while still a student of law and was promoted to the position of associate.  Olga is a regular contributor of articles on Russian and international private law matters to legal and industry specific journals.  In 2006 she qualified as a Candidate of Legal Sciences from the Moscow State University.
