Dinara A. Dorizo
Dinara has over six years of experience practicing law, majoring principally in the natural resource and corporate/commercial areas. She started her career advising clients on the incorporation of joint ventures, corporate restructuring, conducting legal due diligence cases as well as production sharing agreements.
Dinara works with major international and Russian companies on investment projects, providing legal counsel which often includes business risk assessment. She has expanded her transactional expertise into the domain of mergers and acquisitions and project financing, with her focus being on the mining and energy industries.
As examples of her expertise in both these areas, Dinara recently provided legal advice on the financing of a company holding licenses for the development and extraction of hydrocarbons through a private placement, which involved multinational jurisdictions. In the area of mergers and acquisitions, she has represented several foreign investors in a number of acquisitions of interests in Russian companies holding mining and hydrocarbon assets.
In addition to natural resources, Dinara has also represented clients in the telecommunications, insurance, banking, retail and food sectors.
Throughout her career, Dinara has spoken at mining and energy forums such as at the International Petroleum Week in London in February 2007 when she gave a presentation entitled The Investment Climate in Russia: a Legal Perspective Focusing on the Energy Sector. She has also been published in energy-specific publications.
