Aldo P. Argento
Aldo is a partner in Macleod Dixon's litigation practice group working primarily on major commercial, insurance and aboriginal matters.
He has acted as counsel in the litigation and arbitration of a number of complex insurance claims. These claims have included disputes over policy interpretation and coverage as well as product liability and negligence claims arising from losses at large industrial facilities.
Aldo has also acted in a wide range of matters in the aboriginal law field and advised government and industry in this area. The cases he has worked on have dealt with the interpretation of First Nation treaty rights throughout Alberta including claims involving land, water, taxation and the duty to consult in the context of resource development.
