Darren D. Hueppelsheuser
Darren's practice includes all aspects of income tax law with an emphasis on financing and transaction planning for corporations, trusts and partnerships in both private and public transactions.
Darren has lectured on various tax topics at the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society, Canadian Bar Association and Calgary Chamber of Commerce.
He has been a partner since 2004.
Examples of areas where Darren has provided recent advice include:
- debt and equity financings, acquisitions and dispositions by publicly traded trusts and corporations;
- reorganizations of publicly traded trusts and corporations;
- establishment and financing of private investment funds using limited partnerships and private mutual fund trusts; and
- reorganizations and recapitalizations of private corporations.
