Elizaveta P. Komolova
Elizaveta joined Macleod Dixon in July 2007 as a paralegal. Prior to this, she had worked for a high profile Russian law firm in Moscow, after completing a five year course in international commercial law at the Moscow Institute of International Relations. Elizaveta advises clients on such issues as:
- Establishment and liquidation of legal entities;
- Accreditation of representative offices and branches;
- Drawing up powers of attorney, and certifying, translating, legalizing and verifying all types of legal documents;
- Accreditation of foreigners in Russia.
Having lived and studied in France and the United Kingdom, Elizaveta is completely fluent in the languages of both countries. In addition, she has attended numerous educational legal seminars both in Russia and abroad given by European legal professionals on current topical legal issues.
Elizaveta has a particular interest in researching subsoil legislation and its impact on foreign investment in Russia. This topic will form the basis of a PhD for which she is studying at MGIMO.
