Evgeny S. Kruglov
Prior to joining Macleod Dixon Moscow in July 2007, Evgeny worked as in house legal counsel for the Moscow regional office of a world renowned international corporation, and before that as company lawyer for a large Russian construction firm. In these roles he gained essential practical legal experience which he continues to expand as an associate at Macleod Dixon, providing legal counsel, particularly in the areas of corporate, commercial, real estate and employment law.

“Legal regulatory aspects of subrogation under the civil law system of the Russian Federation”, 2006
- Advising on the incorporation of joint ventures, subsidiaries and branches, on mergers and acquisitions of companies, sale and purchase of shares, participatory interests and other corporate matters.
- Assisting clients on issues related to the choice of a corporate vehicle to establish a legal presence in Russia, structuring and restructuring of businesses, corporate governance, antimonopoly and licensing requirements, as well as foreign investments and currency restrictions.
- Representing clients across a broad spectrum of labour and employment matters - from dismissal and transfer of staff, preparing employment contracts, training and other agreements entered into with employees, participating in negotiation and mitigation of labour disputes, to obtaining work permits for foreigners.
- Providing legal counsel for the development, construction, commercial leasing of real estate both in Moscow and in the regions of the Russian Federation, including inter alia clarification of legal risks, drafting of sale and purchase, lease agreements and related documentation, conducting due-diligence of title to land plots, buildings, residential and non-residential premises and other categories of immovable property.
