Gabriela Rachadell de Delgado
Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters related to clients in the areas of oil and gas, banks and other financial institutions, and different kinds of companies.
She has worked extensively with oil and gas producers engaged in exploration and production-sharing agreements, operating agreements and strategic alliances in Venezuela, has recently adviced companies on the negotiation and signature of gas licenses and joint-ventures for oil developments. She also advices oil and gas service companies. She has been involved in major deals pertaining to upstream and downstream activities as well as infrastructure projects, including project financing. Gabriela has extensive experience in the Ministry of Energy and Mines, PDVSA and its affiliates’ bidding processes, contract negotiation and drafting. She also has significant tax expertise as applied to natural resources and energy projects.
She was elected as one of the top 25 Venezuelan lawyers under the age of 40 by Latin Lawyer.
Gabriela is an international partner of Macleod Dixon. Prior to joining the firm in March 2000, she was a member of a major Caracas law firm for nearly eight years
