Harold A. Jacques
Harold’s practice includes all aspects of income tax law and the application of GST, with an emphasis on resource taxation, financings and transaction planning for corporations, trusts and partnerships. He has extensive experience representing clients in matters involving the federal and Alberta governments.
Harold has lectured at various conferences and seminars held by the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society and the Canadian Bar Association; instructed taxation law at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law and for the Law Society of Alberta Bar Admission courses, and is a past editor of the Canadian Petroleum Tax Journal. He has been a partner of Macleod Dixon LLP since 1986.
