Jack’s practice has focused on litigation, regulatory and arbitration matters since admission to the Bar in 1967. Particular concentration on disputes involving companies in the resource sector, securities matters and corporate reorganizations. Extensive trial experience including frequent appearances before Alberta Courts and Federal Court. Frequent appearances before regulators including Alberta Energy and Utilities Board and the National Energy Board and extensive arbitration experience.
The LEXPERT Legal Directory identifies Jack as a leading lawyer in the areas of energy (oil and gas), corporate commercial and securities litigation and product liability law.
He was appointed to the CPR Institute of Dispute Resolution’s International Panel of Neutrals.
Jack served as Chairman of Macleod Dixon from 2000 to 2007.
