Mary E. Comeau
Since joining Macleod Dixon in 1989, Mary has practised in the area of commercial litigation and arbitration, concentrating on the areas of resource, aboriginal, electricity and education law. She has represented companies in the electricity industry in arbitrations regarding plant upgrades, plant shut-downs, force majeure issues and cost allocation issues, represented oil and gas companies in international gas price arbitrations and conducted numerous mediations. She has appeared in all levels of the Alberta Courts, the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Mary is the Chair of the Macleod Dixon Education Law Practice Group.
Mary became a partner of the firm in 1997.
