Roman A. Krupenin
Roman joined Macleod Dixon as an intern in November 2006 and assists lawyers on various legal issues, including:
- Translation of contracts and documents
- Providing lawyers with the latest court practice on files they are working on
- Drafting and review of memoranda, due diligence reports, contracts, and all types of legal documents
Roman's main focus is on corporate/commercial, tax, and intellectual property law. He is often called upon to assist lawyers in conducting research and providing input where there is a lack of clarity in legislation, and giving updates on important developments in Russian law within the practice areas of the Moscow office.
As well as continuing to develop his growing expertise in the above-mentioned practice areas, Roman has a keen interest in expanding his knowledge of capital markets and securities law. In March 2007, Roman co-authored an article in Tax Notes International journal which provided insights and interpretations into potentially groundbreaking new amendments considered for inclusion in the Russian Tax Code, including changes to personal income tax rates in Russia.
