Tauna Staniland
Tauna Staniland practices in the area of corporate/commercial law with a primary focus on securities law. Tauna acts for issuers, controlling shareholders and dealers/advisors on a broad range of transactions, including public offerings, private placements, stock exchange listings, capital pool company transactions, take-over bids and corporate reorganizations. Tauna has significant experience dealing with venture companies and junior issuers, including those in the mining, health and technology industries.
Tauna regularly advises issuers with respect to corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations and securities regulatory compliance, and has acted on behalf of issuers seeking exemptions from regulatory requirements. Tauna also advises clients with respect to dealer and advisor registration and regulatory compliance.
