Rubén Eduardo Luján

Rubén Eduardo received his law degree cum laude from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in 1995, and his master of laws from The University of Michigan Law School in 1998. Rubén Eduardo is a partner at Macleod Dixon.

Before joining Macleod Dixon in July 1998, he was a member of the Caracas office of a major international law firm. He has assisted and counselled in commercial and banking investment vehicles for Venezuela, such as incorporation or acquisition of local commercial banks, financial institutions, mutual funds, and investment advisors; administrative intervention and liquidation procedures of local financial institutions; exchange control regulations; and Venezuelan financial instruments. Likewise, Rubén Eduardo has assisted and counselled in the acquisition and merger of Venezuelan companies, as well as in the public offering of securities, tender offers, secured and unsecured facility loans, public lending and project financing in Venezuela.
