Ryan Penner
Ryan joined the firm in 2003 as a summer student. After finishing law school in Ottawa, Ryan returned to Calgary where he articled with the Alberta Court of Appeal and Court of Queen's Bench. Ryan completed his articles with the firm and, upon being called to the bar, moved to Cambridge, England where he obtained his Masters of Law. Ryan rejoined the firm in July of 2006 and currently practices in the area of litigation, with particular emphasis on aboriginal issues and regulatory appeals.
Ryan has appeared at both the provincial and superior court levels in Alberta, and has advised and assisted clients on matters ranging from small commercial disputes to complex multi-million dollar litigation.
